At ACTUATOR SERVICES, LLC, we stand behind the quality of our services and products. This return policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, exchanges, and refunds.

1General Return Policy

We accept returns on parts and products within 30 days of the original purchase date. To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging
  • All accessories, manuals, and documentation must be included
  • Original receipt or proof of purchase must be provided
  • Items must not show signs of installation or use

2Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Custom-ordered or specially manufactured parts
  • Electrical components that have been installed or energized
  • Items damaged due to improper installation or misuse
  • Completed repair services (labor charges are non-refundable)
  • Emergency service call fees

3Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact Us

Call us at +1 (313) 221-7413 or email mallorsaedway@actuatorsaservices.com to request a Return Authorization (RA) number. Returns without an RA number will not be accepted.

Step 2: Package the Item

Securely package the item in its original packaging. Include all accessories, manuals, and documentation. Clearly mark the RA number on the outside of the package.

Step 3: Ship the Return

Ship the item to: ACTUATOR SERVICES, LLC, 1620 ROSE ST., MONROE MI 48162. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

Step 4: Inspection & Refund

Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item within 5-7 business days. If approved, your refund will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.

4Refunds and Restocking Fees

Refund amounts and applicable fees:

  • Standard Returns: A 15% restocking fee applies to all approved returns
  • Defective Items: No restocking fee for items proven to be defective upon receipt
  • Our Error: Full refund including shipping costs if we shipped the wrong item
  • Opened Packages: Items in opened packages may be subject to a 25% restocking fee

5Exchanges

We accept exchanges for the same item or an item of equal or greater value within 30 days of purchase. Exchange requests must follow the same return process outlined above. If exchanging for an item of greater value, the customer is responsible for paying the difference. No restocking fee applies to direct exchanges of the same item.

6Warranty Claims

Items covered under manufacturer warranty or our service warranty should be processed as warranty claims rather than returns. Please contact us to determine if your item qualifies for warranty service. Warranty claims are handled separately from our standard return policy and may have different terms and conditions.

7Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you. Please provide photos of the damage or defect to expedite the process. Do not return damaged items without prior authorization.
